BEFORE YOU INSTALL

Pymata Express requires Python 3.7 or above. Please see the Verifying/Installing Python 3.7 section of this document to verify or install Python on your computer.

INSTALLING PYMATA EXPRESS

To install Pymata Express on Linux (including Raspberry Pi) and macOS computers, open a terminal window and type:

sudo pip3 install pymata-express

For Windows users type:

pip install pymata-express

ACCESSING THE ADVANCED FEATURE SET

If you wish to use all the advanced features of Pymata Express, install the FirmataExpress Arduino sketch on your Arduino device. You can find the installation instructions here.
